What if I forget to place my order before the Tuesday cut-off?

If you miss the 9:00 AM CT Tuesday cut-off for a weekend party, contact us as soon as possible at hello@lalospartykitchen.com. Late orders may be accepted on a limited basis depending on availability, but cannot be guaranteed. A late-order fee may apply. To avoid any uncertainty, we recommend placing your order as early as possible.

What if my party box doesn't arrive the day before my party?

We schedule every delivery to arrive one to two days before your celebration. If a delay occurs due to weather, traffic, or any other circumstance, we will contact you as soon as possible with an updated delivery window and work with you to find an appropriate solution. If you have not received your box and have not heard from us, please contact us immediately at hello@lalospartykitchen.com.

My child has a food allergy. How do I know what's in the box?

Products in our party boxes may be sourced from third-party suppliers and may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, fish, and shellfish. If your child has a food allergy, please contact us before placing your order so we can discuss your specific concerns and help you make an informed decision.

Can I customize what's inside the box for my child's theme or preferences?

We offer party boxes designed around your child's celebration. If you have specific requests or questions about what can be adjusted, please contact us at hello@lalospartykitchen.com before placing your order and we will do our best to help.

What if I need to cancel because my child is sick or the party is postponed?

We understand that unexpected things happen. Cancellation refunds are based on how far in advance you contact us:

  • 7 or more days before the party: full refund
  • 3 to 6 days before the party: 50% refund
  • Less than 72 hours before the party: no refund

If your situation falls outside these windows, please reach out and we will do our best to work with you.

Someone needs to be home to receive the box — what if no one is available?

Because our boxes contain perishable food prepared specifically for your event, someone needs to be available to receive the delivery at the scheduled time. Please make sure a responsible adult is home during the estimated delivery window. If you have concerns about your availability, contact us in advance and we will do our best to coordinate a suitable time.

What if an item in the box isn't suitable or my child doesn't like something?

Because our party boxes are prepared specifically for your event and contain perishable items, we are unable to accept returns after delivery. If an item arrives damaged, incorrect, or unusable, please contact us within 2 hours of delivery at hello@lalospartykitchen.com with your order number and photos. We will review the issue and work with you on an appropriate resolution.

How do I know my order is confirmed and on track for delivery?

After placing your order, you will receive an email confirmation with your order details and scheduled event date. Before your delivery date, you will receive a follow-up with your estimated delivery window. If anything changes, we will contact you directly by email, text, or phone.

What if I realize after ordering that my guest count has changed?

Order changes such as party size adjustments can be requested up to 7 days before your party. Please contact us at hello@lalospartykitchen.com as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, though changes cannot be guaranteed within 72 hours of the event once food and supplies have been ordered or prepared.

Can I place an order for a party happening this weekend?

Orders for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday parties must be placed by 9:00 AM CT on the Tuesday before that weekend. If your party is this weekend and you have already passed the cut-off, contact us right away at hello@lalospartykitchen.com. We will check availability and let you know if we can accommodate your order. A late-order fee may apply.
