This Delivery Policy explains how and when your order will be delivered by Lalo's Party Kitchen, operated by Lalo's Lunchbox, LLC. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set out below.
Delivery areas
We currently offer delivery within the United States, serving the Twin Cities area, including Minneapolis, Saint Paul, and the surrounding communities. All orders are dispatched from our location in Minnesota. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
Delivery cost
Delivery is free on all orders.
Delivery timing
Party boxes are typically delivered one to two business days before your scheduled celebration date. During checkout, you will select your event date, and we will schedule delivery so that your box arrives in advance of the celebration. You will receive an estimated delivery window before your delivery date.
Order cut-off times
All Party Box orders are prepared specifically for each celebration and require advance ordering.
Party Boxes are available exclusively for birthday parties taking place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. To ensure availability and proper preparation, all orders must be submitted by 9:00 AM Central Time (CT) on the Tuesday preceding the event weekend.
Orders submitted after the Tuesday deadline may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to product availability, staffing capacity, and scheduling constraints. Additional fees may apply to approved late orders.
Lalo's Party Kitchen reserves the right to decline any order received after the deadline if it cannot be fulfilled while maintaining our quality and service standards.
Please note that Party Box orders are not available for events scheduled on Monday through Thursday.
Order confirmation and delivery updates
After your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation containing your order details and scheduled event date.
Before delivery, you will receive your delivery information, including the estimated delivery window. Additional updates may be provided by email, text message, or phone as needed. If a significant delay or change to the delivery schedule occurs, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Changes to your delivery address
You may request a change to your delivery address before your order has shipped. Please contact us as early as possible, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.
Delays and circumstances beyond our control
We make every effort to deliver each order within the communicated delivery window. Delivery times may be affected by weather, traffic, vehicle issues, holidays, peak periods, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If a significant delay is anticipated, we will contact you as soon as possible with an updated estimate and work with you to determine an appropriate solution.
Receiving your order
Because our boxes contain perishable food and party supplies prepared for a specific date, customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and for ensuring that someone is available to receive the party box at the scheduled delivery time.
