This Return & Refund Policy explains how Lalo's Party Kitchen, operated by Lalo's Lunchbox, LLC, handles returns, replacements, cancellations, and refunds. Because our party boxes contain food, beverages, and party supplies prepared specifically for each event, certain conditions apply. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.
Returns
Because each party box consists of perishable food and supplies prepared for a specific celebration, we are unable to accept returns after delivery.
If there is a problem with your order, please contact us promptly using the steps below, and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
Reporting a problem with your order
Please inspect your party box upon arrival. If any items are damaged, missing, incorrect, or unusable, contact us within 2 hours of delivery by email and include photographs of the issue whenever possible.
After we review the situation, we will work with you to provide an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement item, delivery of the correct item, store credit, or a refund for the affected items.
Because our products are prepared for a specific event, we may be unable to replace items reported after the event has begun or after a significant delay in reporting. Please notify us as soon as possible.
Missing items
If part of your order is missing, please contact us at hello@lalospartykitchen.com within 2 hours of delivery and provide your order number along with a description of the missing item or items.
Once we verify the issue, we will provide an appropriate solution, which may include delivering the missing item, issuing store credit, or providing a refund for the affected item or items.
Incorrect or defective items
If you receive an incorrect or defective item, please contact us at hello@lalospartykitchen.com within 2 hours of delivery and provide your order number along with photographs of the item received.
We will review the issue and work with you to arrange an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement item, delivery of the correct item, store credit, a partial refund, or another reasonable solution.
Replacements
When a replacement is approved for a damaged, missing, or incorrect item, we will make reasonable efforts to provide it as quickly as possible.
Depending on the item and the timing of the event, a replacement may be delivered the same day or before the scheduled celebration, or an alternative solution such as store credit or a refund may be offered.
Replacement availability may vary based on inventory, supplier availability, and event timing.
Exchanges
Because our boxes contain food, beverages, and supplies prepared for each celebration, we generally do not offer exchanges after delivery.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect, please follow the steps above and we will work to make it right.
If you need to make changes before delivery, please contact us at hello@lalospartykitchen.com as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate requests, though changes may not be possible once food and supplies have been ordered or prepared.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your order, the available refund depends on how far in advance of your party you contact us:
- 7 or more days before the party: full refund
- 3 to 6 days before the party: 50% refund
- Less than 72 hours before the party: no refund
Partial refunds
In certain situations, a partial refund may be issued rather than a full refund.
A partial refund may be considered when an item is missing, arrives damaged or unusable, is incorrect, does not meet reasonable quality standards, or when a replacement is unavailable, and only part of the order is affected.
Partial refunds are generally limited to the value of the affected item or items and are determined on a case-by-case basis. To be eligible, please contact us at hello@lalospartykitchen.com within 2 hours of delivery and provide photographs of the issue whenever possible.
How refunds are issued
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase or, where applicable, as store credit.
Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to be processed and to appear in your account.
Processing times may vary depending on your bank, credit card company, or payment provider. If you have not received your refund after 10 business days, please contact us at hello@lalospartykitchen.com.
